Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Coastline Flight Simulator Fan Site uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies when you visit our pages.

Last updated: 21 September 2026

Coastline Flight Simulator Fan Site is an independent fan-created website. It uses essential browser storage to remember that the site preference notice was accepted. It does not use that storage to sell personal information or to run a checkout system.

This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which can keep small pieces of information in your browser.

On this fan site, the primary similar technology in use is essential local browser storage related to the site preference notice. Depending on your browser and future site updates, limited essential cookies may also be used for the same convenience and security purposes described below.

When you accept the site preference notice, a simple marker may be saved in local browser storage so the notice is not shown on every visit.

Typical characteristics of this storage:

  • Category: essential / strictly necessary for notice preference
  • Purpose: remember that you dismissed or accepted the site preference notice
  • Content: a simple preference marker (not a profile of your browsing across other websites)
  • Duration: until cleared by you or removed according to browser settings

We do not use this marker to create an account, to process payments, or to build advertising audiences on this website.

We use essential browser storage to:

  • improve basic browsing convenience by avoiding repeated display of the same notice;
  • support a clear and transparent preference experience;
  • help the site operate in a stable and user-friendly way.

Because this website does not sell the game or run checkout, the preference marker is not used to track gameplay purchases.

5.1 Essential storage

Essential storage is required for core site functions such as remembering the preference notice state. This category does not include optional advertising trackers operated by this fan site.

5.2 Analytics and advertising cookies

This fan site does not presently set first-party analytics or advertising cookies for its own measurement. If advertising networks (for example Google Ads) show or measure ads that lead visitors here, those networks may use their own cookies under their own policies when ads are displayed or clicked outside or before arrival on our pages.

We encourage you to review the privacy and cookie settings offered by advertising platforms and your browser.

5.3 Third-party embeds

If a future page embeds third-party media or widgets, those providers may set their own cookies. Where that occurs, we will aim to identify the relevant provider and purpose in an updated version of this policy.

You can control cookies and site data through your browser settings. Common options include blocking cookies, deleting stored data and setting site-specific permissions.

After clearing storage for this website, the preference notice may appear again. Blocking all storage may affect how some site features behave, including notice display.

Browser help pages typically explain how to manage cookies for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and other browsers. Device-level privacy settings may provide additional controls.

We do not sell personal information collected through essential browser storage on this website. The preference marker is used only for the operational purpose described above.

We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices, technologies or legal requirements change. The revised text will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
